The video is produced by the party called Ultimate Movies Broadcast Show (no clue who is behind it) - on Jan. 03 - 2017. The title reads "Argentine Tango Danced by Anthony Dexter and Patricia Medina in 'Valentino' - 1951". In the memorable scene from the move - Valentino - played well by Anthony Dexter performs a hot and sensuous classic Tango "La Cumparsita" with Patricia Medina - a beautiful and talented dancer - at the casting party at the opulent home of major players of 1920's - Hollywood.
Anthony Dexter flawlessly channels Rudolph Valentino who got his first major break-out part in the movie "Four Horsemen of Apocalypse" where he performed first - this memorable Tango. The popular book "Four Horsemen of Apocalypse" is long, tedious and hard to get through - B.T.W.
The ravishing star Eleanor Parker plays Valentino's love interest - also a famous female movie star from 1920's who had a tempestuous affair with Valentino. They were cast together in several successful movies with the "Sheik" motive - much parodied and ridiculed - since every enormously popular piece - invariably - meets this course of events.
Unfortunately, Valentino died young - in his early thirties as a result of peritoneal infection (burst appendix) - caused by the blow he sustained from his lover's jealous husband. His funeral in New York City in 1928 - stopped New York traffic for a long time as thousands of people - especially women - who mourned him - came out - en masse - to pay the last respects to their beloved matinee idol.
Have a great new week - everybody! The major winter holidays are almost here then the New Year's Eve 2017/2018 is "right around the corner". Happy Hanukkah to all who celebrate it! We finally got an inch of fluffy snow on the picturesque hills in our mountainous neighborhood close to New York. We thank you - for checking her every week - and have a super Christmas 2017 - coming up very soon!
