Last night Geraldo Riviera went home so his gorgeous partner - Edyta Slivinska had a short run this season - still they both earned close to a reported $125 thousand dollars.
Since Geraldo Riviera makes tons of money from a lot of different sources - maybe he can contribute some of his high fees to some worthy causes - especially in view of the fact that he mentioned his left foot being totally numb as a result of his back surgery which might excuse his lame dancing. That reminds me of my ex-Latin dancing instructor - ex-Latin champion - hot in Chicago for a long time - whose name I will not mention but who frequently talked about his back surgery so the moves he taught were easy for him to execute.
The third MC - Erin Edwards always wears extremely high heels which make most dancers standing next to her look like midgets - furthermore - since she is not dancing or judging - she could - definitely - cut her commentary - a bit shorter - since we prefer to look at the dancers.
Marla Maples did a beautiful Tango with a super dancer/choreographer - Tony Devalani; even if the music could be better - they were - nevertheless - underscored by the judges - the second week in a row.

A Preview of the Second Show - Mon. March 28 - 16 - DWTS - ABC 8PM.
The vast improvement in the second show of the season of DWTS - would be a better music selections for the main theme of the show - Latin Dancing.
The first couple of the night - Jodie Sweetin and Keo - performed a tremendously well choreographed Samba which was way - underscored - by the judges - again.
They seem to underscore some dancers while they - consistently - overscore and praise - some others. Last week - Ginger Zee - was - overly complemented for her average performance plus the viewers complained on a Facebook forum that they received too much needless information about Ginger Zee breastfeeding her infant - we agree - TMI - this has nothing to do with her dancing.
Look for our conclusion tomorrow since now - a couple needs to go home - we predict that it will be Geraldo and Edyta who tonight did a parody on Donald Trump and his wife - Melania which went over like a proverbial - led balloon.

A Conclusion to a Review of Premiere Episode 1 -Season 22 - DWTS - March 21 - 16. ABC - 8 pm.
Last night's premiere show of DWTS was a bit disappointing but not a total loss of time. As usually - we will give you the bad news first - then you will get some decent impressions. The music chosen for the two Tangos was boring and uneventful. For God's sake - out of all the gloriously sounding Tangos available to the producers - they can pick some more melodic and better sounding - pieces - for sure than the boring ones they chose last night.
One of our favorite dancers - Edyta Slivinska - A Polish dance superstar did a terrific job on her lame Cha-Cha since her partner - Geraldo Riviera was barely moving - not even mentioning the verb - dancing. We predict that he will be gone first.

A Premiere of DWTS - Season 22 - ABC 8pm - Mon.March 21 - 2016!
Tonight's line up doesn't promise anything particularly exciting but all of us are watching - to check. Marla Maples looks very good - hopefully she will dance the same way with our all time favorite - Tony Davalani. On the other hand - Kim Fields our favorite starlet from the eighties TV show "Growing Pains" - got to be big looking like a mini "tank" - hopefully - she will shed some pounds - dancing with Sasha Farber - her pro dance instructor.
Edyta Slivinska - a gorgeous Polish dance ex-champion was paired up with a sensationalist headline grabber - Geraldo Riviera - we'll just have to wait and see about his dancing.

Our Choice for Youtube Video of the Week- the Third Week of March - March 15 through March 22 - 2016!
For the third week of March 2016 - we choose the vid by Dr.240252 - uploaded on March 10 - 2016 titled Tango Poesia by Peter Kreuder's German Orchestra - 1938 - the second side of the record we chose a few weeks ago - which featured a famous Tango Jealousy - a sole international Tango masterpiece by a Dutch composer Jaacob Jade.
With this Youtube Video of the week being the last one until Nov. 2016 - we want to remind you that Dancing with the Stars - Season 22 will start on Mon. March 21 - 2016 - consequently you will be getting our popular review every week until the end of May 2016 at which time So You Think You Can Dance series will commence on May 31-2016 and last until Sept. 2016. In September 2016 the season 23 of Dancing with the Stars starts again - which we review weekly until the end of the season 23 - at the end of Nov. 2016 so at time we will resume our Youtube Video of the Week series.

Our Choice for the Second Week of March 2016 - March 08 through March 15 - 2016 - "Puttin' on the Ritz - 1930"
For the third week of March 2016 - we chose a vid by Dr.240252 titled "Puttin' on the Ritz 1930 - a great Irwing Berlin hit - arranged by Carl Webster's Yale Collegians" - uploaded on March 3-2016. The vocals sound superb by Stewart Fletcher while the musical arrangement by the Carl Websters's Yale University Collegians Group - consisting of the talented students of the Yale University - exceeds all the expectations. This variation features a group of extra gifted young musicians who do an amazing job with this famous tune.
