For the first week of June 2019 - we picked a video - a lovely Tango uploaded by Dr. 240252 on May 27 - 2019 titled "Orchestra Dobri - Der letzte Tango des Rudolph Valentino - 1928". It was composed by a lesser known Tango composer - Jan Volkov - with the super good instrumental arrangement by a German orchestra called "Orchestra Dobri".
Tango became popular in 1920's in many European countries since it drastically changed from its original, raw version born in seedy, port nightclubs of Buenos Aires, Argentina - at the end of eighteen century. Many European composers, arrangers, dancers and vocalists came up with beautiful Tangos - totally on par with those composed by the original Argentinian Tango masters.
Dr. 240252 effective used visuals of Rudolph Valentino - a handsome Italian American movie idol - a great Tango dancer - famous in 1920's. He - unfortunately - died tragically in 1931 - in his early thirties - at the New York hospital - due to the complications following his appendix surgery. His funeral procession attracted millions of his fans - especially - the ladies. It shut down all the New York traffic for a long time.

Our YouTube Video of the Week Choice for the Memorial Day - 2019 Week - "Democratic Huddle".
For this Memorial Day 2019 - week - we chose a hilarious, short video by the satirical website - "United Spot" which is enjoying sensationally good responses from the viewers and is gaining a big following on YouTube platform.
On May 22 - 2019 - they uploaded a short video ridiculing the current political "superstars" - Nancy Pelosi, Chuckie Schumer, Ocasio-Cortez a "promising" corrupt freshman from New York's - Queens - already accused of campaign funds violations, Maxine Waters of California - an old political "hack" who has been - forever - screeching "Impeach Forty Five" in her phony, "folksy" Southern drawl. She claims to represent her poor Los Angeles district where her honest, low income constituents - struggle to survive while according to many YouTube opinions voiced on various YouTube websites - her district also "prides itself" in many gangsters and thugs - who strongly support her - since she has amassed a vast fortune on her Congressional rep's salary and while she lives in a lavish mansion - her poor constituents - "eat dirt."
Nancy Pelosi doesn't want to submit her tax returns for the voters to look over. YouTube has a lot of comments regarding the suspicious nature of her vast fortune amassed on her Congressional rep - salary. A conservative commentator Mark Levin - stated that she was elected by her "puny - small" number of her Leftist, San Francisco - constituents - while Pres. Trump was elected by sixty five million voting Americans.
The website "United Spot" uses a funny technique of utilizing the head photos of the actual - purportedly - powerful and corrupt - politicians to which they add the voices which sound very similar to those of the real politicians.
The viewers who comment under this video are not kind at all - towards those top U.S. politicians. One of them calls Maxine Waters - Maxi-Pad Waters - another one urges the cynical/corrupt politicians like her - in this video - "to stick their heads in the toilet."
According to many opinions expressed by the YouTube viewers - "the political hacks - pay a hefty price for their 'political goodies'". This video is very funny so you will enjoy it.

Our Choice of YouTube Vid of the Wk - "This Is Not a Joke - Mark Dice".
For this sunny, cool and lovely week of May 2019 - we chose as our YouTube Video of the Week - a hilarious clip by Mark Dice titled "This Is Not a Joke" which he posted on May 08 - 2019. Being an enormously funny and on-target commentator (his YouTube following is one and a quarter million people clicking on his website) - Mark Dice makes people laugh a lot.
This video totally ridicules a political rising star of the Democratic party Socialists - Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez - a new queen of the climate change extremists, the "garden variety" anarchists, violent Leftist Antifa thugs and other Socialist leaning political extremists.
She is a freshman, Leftist/Socialist Democrat congresswoman from Queens, N.Y. - elected by a small margin by her largely - illegally voting - constituents - to whom she promised tons of free stuff of every kind. She likes to be called AOC - for short.
Mark Dice also effectively points out that several Twitter Accounts which make fun of AOC - were briefly suspended - then - quickly reinstated - upon the massive protests over Twitter's bias in favor of the New Left/Socialistic Democrats.

Our Choice for YouTube Video of the Week - "Tad Faliszewski - Szkoda Twoich Lez - Dziewczyno - 1929".
The First of May - each year - is celebrated in many Socialist/Communist countries as a Workers' Day - with the pseudo "nod" to Socialism which is despised in Socialist/Communist countries. It needs to be noted that the people of those countries understand how Socialism works - but they keep their political beliefs to themselves - as they "climb". However - the end of the Second World War in May of 1944 when the Germans and Hitler's - Nazis (Nazis - German Socialists of the Third Reich) - signed an unconditional pact of surrender to the Americans and their Allies (other nations who fought alongside the Americans) - is celebrated in most of the Eastern block of Europe.
They beat the Socialist Nazis to the pulp - at the great cost in humans lives. In May of 1944 - the Hitler's Socialists were soundly defeated thus "The Victory Day" is celebrated in May with joy - in many countries. The victory over the Nazis was paid by tons of lives - lost needlessly.
For this coming third week of May 2019 - we chose an old upload of a tremendously popular Polish Tango - posted by Dr. 240252 on Nov. 10 - 2012 titled - "Tadeusz Faliszewski - Szkoda Twoich Lez - Dziewczyno - 1929". The Polish title loosely translates to mean "It's a Shame You Shed Your Tears - Woman." The composer and the lyricist of this - eternally popular Tango - both perished in German/Socialist - death camp. The video garnered close to a hundred thousand clicks and it has a lot of interesting viewers' comments under it - including a lenghty comment by yours truly.

The composer - Artur Gold and the lyricist - Andrzej Wlast who also produced many successful shows in Warsaw - were both famous and celebrated in Warsaw from 1920 till 1939. Warsaw was full of outstanding Tango talents and other creative artists - at that time -since from 1920 till 1939 Warsaw was a mecca for all kinds of gifted performers, composers, producers. However - when Socialist/Hitler attacked Poland in 1939 - most of the Polish/Jewish artists were killed - with some lucky ones - escaping.
Both - the composer and the lyricist of this Tango - died in the German death camp - Treblinka. They were only in their late thirties. The death camp Treblinka - located in the northern part of Poland - exterminated close to a million people. A few lucky ones - were able to survive - only sixty seven people escaped with eight hundred thousand - killed. In the Treblinka death camp and in general - the Germans killed mostly Jews but in that camp and during the Second World War - the Poles (mainly the resistance fighters) and other nationalities - opposing Hitler' Socialism - also died massively - killed by the German Socialists. Arthur Gold's cousin - a talented musician - Henry Gold - escaped to the U.S. where he was successful for many years - in Hollywood - where he died in his advanced years.

Our Choice for YouTube Video of the Week - "Ja, Tamara - A Promotional Video for the New Book by that Title."
For the second week of May 2019 - we chose as our YT Video of the Week - the 12 minute long, promotional video by Dr. 240252 uploaded on Apr. 26 - 2019 - titled "Ja, Tamara - A Promotional Video." The title translates loosely to "I - Tamara".
The video starts with one of my most favorite Tangos - "Orchids in the Moonlight" composed by an American/Jewish composer - Henry Yeoman who came up with some other memorable, beautiful tunes used in a famous movie "Flying Down to Rio" from 1930's which still resonates with the viewers - till today.
For close to nine years - Dr.240252 meticulously researched the life and the influences on her creative works - of the Countess Tamara de Lempicka - an internationally famous painter of her Art Deco portraits the trademark of which is their high sensuality. Dr. 240252's biography of her life - was just published in Poland. She was born in Warsaw in 1899 and died in Quarnavaca (a resort close to Mexico City) in 1980.
In this short, promotional video of his new book Dr. 240252 skillfully highlights her tumultuous life of an internationally famous celebrity which was full of tragedies - richly interwoven with many triumphs and pleasures of many different kinds. In short - this beautiful and talented artist died alone in Quarnavaca (a mountain resort by Mexico City) while her paintings - today - easily fetch millions of dollars - each one.
